  2. We did 3 tracks today. Found a parking lot with wide green spaces. Grass in one was 1 ft tall, large enough for 2 tracks. One bordered the road and we did 1 track there. Tried a new treat - liverwurst brownies. They were successful. There was a steady breeze. On every track she had times when she went to the side of the track when the wind was up, always found her way back. A few pieces of trash and the traffic did not distract her from her search.

    1. Good for you getting out in an unfamiliar space to lay her tracks! Every new place with different types of distractions will build a strong tracker. Keep it up!

  3. Got permission to do tracks at Blanton House. Large open space, well mowed. Cool and overcast today. Little breeze. Had to park about 1 block away. Laid the tracks with livurwurst brownie on the starting pad and the article. Chicken was every third step between. So by the time the tracks were laid and I went back to the car to get Tina, then walked her up and put her harness on the tracks had aged about 20 minutes. As soon as I said search she put her nose down and went right past the pad. The scent had drifted a little so the scent field was about 12 inches wide. She worked it out and never looked to me for a clue. She got to the articles and ate the liverwurst, then gave the articles a good shake. We then gathered our flags and went around the athletic field for some fun Parkour. Great session.

    1. Awesome! It would be really helpful for Judi and Mary Ann if you could add video of your tracks. That way they can see how close you are following, how she is tracking, etc. They can give a lot more pointers if they have a visual and you will get a lot more bang for your buck! I use a head mount on a Go Pro and have the Go Pro Quik App on my phone so loading videos to YouTube and then to the blog is not too hard. Some people use their phone and a chest mount. See if you can figure out a way to do it, I promise you it is worth the hassle and money!
